StaceSteele Gone Dark? Hey everyone, miss me?  Sorry, StaceSteele, here I just wanted to let you all know I haven't forgotten you all. What's been happening?  Why have you gone dark from Discord, your blog and your Patreon? Are you still writing? Are you coming back? Good questions. Firstly, I'm coming back hopefully soon. However, I'll explain that it might not be too soon. Yes, I'm still writing and have several new ones in the works for you all. Stay tuned. I wanted to do a quick update and touch base with all of my readers, regardless of where they are, including my blog, Discord, Patreon, GoodNovel, Dreame, AlphaNovel, iReader, and the NovelSnacks apps, such as AnyStories, coming soon. Believe me, I haven't forgotten any of my readers; however, I am stopping by to let you all know why I've been dark after the 8th of Aug 2025. This is due to a workplace injury on August 11, 2025, a slip on the skating rink floors I've mentioned on my blog and Patre...

Weeks 2 and 3 update

Ok, everyone, this update covers two weeks because of the internet issues here at my home. I've caught up both diaries with everything you need to know about what has been going on at my day job and author life, so don't forget to check them out. I'll be adding the photos to the cover photo page later tonight. I have taken them, I just need to get them onto my computer from my phone. Pateron has been updated with a full version of the August 8, 2025, diary entry, so don't forget to check that out. That shift was special, considering I had two in the kitchen that day. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. With a bit of luck, we'll have a new modem on Tuesday, the 12th Aug.. I did go and buy a portable modem, but it can only do so much since it's 4 G , but added to my family's data limit, so just gotta hope my teenagers don't use it all. I'm still writing, but I'm not updating my current novels. I'm unsure if the uploads will save before th...

Week 1 update

Hey guys, it's been a big week since I started this between-staking rink-style floors at my day job at the burger joint, to endless following writing sections where my characters wouldn't let me got to bed on Friday night until 1:30am on Saturday morning, just when I thought I was done I was no where near it rofl. Only to get up again around 6, such is life lol. Starting to make headway on my world-building and character template files on my computer, adding some of the names I've gotten off customer orders at work into the names his and her sections of my Excel file from the notebook I take to work to jot down interesting names for characters. Sometimes it's hard to find the right name rofl. More of the physical books have arrived to make the paperback version more details in my Author Diary. Feel free to check out my Day Job Diary if you would like to read about last week's work chaos. Don't forget to check out my Author Diary to read about how my novels are c...

Welcome to my world!

Hi, and welcome to my author's vault! I'm Stacey Steele, writing under the pen name StaceSteele . I've been writing for 16 years, but only just recently started getting published in May 2025 - better late than never, right? After 16 years of crafting stories in my spare time while juggling a day job, I finally took the plunge into the publishing world. I write across multiple genres because, honestly, I get bored sticking to just one! You'll find me creating: Paranormal romance Werewolf stories Dragon shifter tales Sci-fi adventures Dystopian worlds Contemporary romance (because sometimes you need regular humans falling in love, too!) Also keeps the writer's block at bay, rofl, well, at least for the most part, currently going through old novel notes that have been in storage for 4 years I'm very much a "write and see where the story takes me" kind of author - I rarely plan ahead, preferring to let the characters guide their own journeys. Some...
