Welcome to my world!

 Hi, and welcome to my author's vault! I'm Stacey Steele, writing under the pen name StaceSteele. I've been writing for 16 years, but only just recently started getting published in May 2025 - better late than never, right?

After 16 years of crafting stories in my spare time while juggling a day job, I finally took the plunge into the publishing world. I write across multiple genres because, honestly, I get bored sticking to just one! You'll find me creating:

• Paranormal romance
• Werewolf stories
• Dragon shifter tales
• Sci-fi adventures
• Dystopian worlds
• Contemporary romance (because sometimes you need regular humans falling in love, too!)

Also keeps the writer's block at bay, rofl, well, at least for the most part, currently going through old novel notes that have been in storage for 4 years I'm very much a "write and see where the story takes me" kind of author - I rarely plan ahead, preferring to let the characters guide their own journeys. Some of my best stories actually come from recurring dreams that refuse to leave me alone until I write them down!

My manager at work has said she'd love to see how my brain works to create these stories. I told her, "No, you don't - it's scary in there!" And honestly, she's probably right to be curious, and I'm probably right to keep that chaos contained to the page.

Somehow, no matter what genre I'm writing, themes like star-crossed lovers, supernatural bonds, and love that transcends death always seem to find their way into my stories. Perhaps it's the dreams, perhaps it's just the beautiful madness of a writer's mind - either way, my characters tend to love deeply and fight for that love against seemingly impossible odds.
